At Speed Plus, we are value-hunters as our record will attest to. It’s unusual for us to back short-priced horses where you need a very high strike rate to stay ahead. We need to be super-confident to back short-priced horses and the weight of money on Gamba ($2.40 into $1.55) shows that we were on the right horse today, he just raced very badly.
